Booking Terms and Conditions

Submitting a booking request does not confirm the artist. Each request receives a reference number and a verifiable receipt that records the request only.

A booking is confirmed only when a written performance agreement is signed by both parties and the required deposit is received.

The booker must describe the event truthfully, including its type, venue, expected audience and whether tickets are sold. Fees depend on these details.

If the event differs materially from the request, for example a public ticketed concert described as a school or private event, we may revise the fee, cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Unless agreed otherwise, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the performance fee secures the date, and the balance is payable no later than seven days before the event.

Fees exclude travel, accommodation, ground transport, visas, sound and stage, security and hospitality unless stated in the agreement.

The booker will provide the sound, stage, lighting, security, dressing room and hospitality described in the artist's rider, which forms part of the agreement.

For regional, African and international engagements, the booker provides return flights, visas and work permits, accommodation and ground transport for the artist and touring party, as specified in the agreement.

Professional recording, livestreaming or broadcast of a performance requires written consent and may carry an additional fee. Guests may take personal photos and short videos.

Cancellation by the booker is handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. If the artist cannot perform for reasons within our control, deposits are refunded in full or the date is rescheduled by agreement.

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including illness, natural disaster, government restrictions, civil unrest or travel disruption. The parties will first try to agree a new date.

Every receipt carries a reference number, QR code and cryptographic security code. Anyone may confirm a receipt at ceoabel.com/verify. A document that fails verification is not issued by CEO Abel.
